Setting up the Sandbox
How to set up the sandbox environment for the most common cases
The sandbox environment comes with mock data to help you work with it quickly. However, depending on the use case you might want to test you will require some extra configuration.
To create and complete a test booking, you will need to start with setting up a payment profile. Follow the steps below:
Setting up Payment Profile
We recommend you set up test credit cards for your sandbox. You can use any of the stripe test card numbers.
Create a payment profile
- Go to Account settings
- Under Account, select Payment Profiles
- Click Create payment profile
- Enter the card details (Use Stripe Test Card)
- Under Payment authorizer, select the people who have access to the mobile phone associated with the credit card in case a 3DS verification is required
- Check the box to give your consent for Perk to take payment from this card when booking trips
- Click Continue
- Choose the company, select who can use the payment profile (we recommend: Everyone in this company) and click Continue
- Enter the billing information and click Save
Before booking a test trip on Sandbox for a user, ensure that the User is assigned to the Company & has access to the Payment Profile created (as outlined in step 8 above).
Now you are ready to book a trip!
