Introduction
The companies API exposes the legal entities that make up a Perk account. A Perk account can contain more than one legal entity, and Perk calls each of these a company. Each company has an id, name, address, tax ID, enabled status, and a flag for whether it's the account's default company.
Companies give you a reliable way to map data to the correct legal entity. Spend and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) connectors, for example, can use the company id as a key for reconciling records across systems.
